Children embody the innocence of our humanity. They are our hope, our future, and our legacy. They will inherit the world we are shaping and will fix the problems we have created.

But what is our hope worth to a child who goes to bed hungry? What is our future worth to a boy dying from a curable disease? What is our legacy worth to a girl that is not allowed education because of her gender or race?

Here and around the world, millions of children suffer because they have no families. They suffer from malnutrition, disease, and unfit living conditions. They lack education, and live in a world marked by change, fear and instability.

Across the world there are thousands of US-based nonprofit organizations working to address the various needs of children trying to grow up in this world. They are fighting for the hope, future and legacy of the world’s children, working in the poorest of countries and in the worst of living conditions.
